The Sumba Borneo complex is made of two buildings and takes its name from them. Before these were 2 different hotels from the Acorn company, which became a complex after the Hoteles Globales chain bought them.
Situated at only for 400 metres from the resorts centre and a short walk from the Cala Millor sandy beach, the Sumba Borneo Hotels has a total 480 air conditioned rooms built over 5 floors. All come equipped with en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, minibar, safe box and (for an additional fee) fridge. Rooms which have a terrace also offer views to the sea. Also, a few of the rooms ion the hotel have been specially adapted to those with disabilities.
Hotel facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with separate children's (small) area plus sun terraces and gardens, a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and gym, along with a children's playground and a mini club. As usual, the hotel also offers a 24 hour reception, facilities fro late departures, snack bar, buffet style restaurant and Internet corner.
Some evenings the hotel also runs an additional themed buffet, which depending on the season may vary from Chinese cuisine or barbecued specialities to Mallorcan dishes.
During the day the entertainment staff organises some animation activities and during the evening children can enjoy a mini disco which is followed by shows and music for the adults.
