The beach-side Hotel Astoria Playa, built in 1982 and refurbished in 1999, offers 186 rooms equipped with complete bathrooms, terraces with views to the garden or the swimming pol, telephone, safe and air conditioning.
Astoria Playa is located about 3 kilometers from Alcudia's city centre, a short walk (60 metres) from the beach and 1.5 kilometers from the sporting marina.
Sporting and leisure facilities include a large swimming pool with sun terrace and surrounded by 3,000 square gardens, children’s playground, tennis court, mini golf, billiard and table tennis.
Musical performances, live shows and animations for adults and children are programmed during both day and night, as well as sports and activities such as basket or volleyball.
The hotel also features a restaurant with weekly thematic dinners (including but not limited to Majorcan cuisine) and an outdoor bar for the summer evenings.
Other facilities are the 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services. All the staff (as well as the TV channels do) speak Spanish, German and English.
